I started my journey in health care in the Navy in 1989, working in many positions such as nursing, emergency medicine, laboratory, administration, systems analyst and project management. While working with oncology patients I was introduced to the healing arts in 1996 as many of these patients were seeking alternative therapies to help them through their difficult time. To my surprise what I found was those patients seeking these service seemed to have a better quality of life and acceptance level, so I decided to continue my training in the healing arts, later going on to obtain my Holistic Health Practitioners license. Down this path I have worked with wonderful teachers and clients and many transformational shifts occurred in my life. While working as a massage therapist at a number of different salons and spas, I came into contact with many talented stylist and aestheticians. I chose to further my education once again and became a licensed cosmetologist. I have since integrated all of my holistic practices and cosmetology under a one-stop-shopping venue, at the David Feiling Salon boutique, offering a complete line of holistic and beauty services to my clients.
